Haven Painting Co. was created from a place of passion and a felt need. Richard has worked in many capacities from construction, to boiler making, to residential appraisals, but his love for painting surpasses it all. The need for a non-toxic option in the painting world though, was like searching for a needle in a haystack. All he could find were painters that would agree to use a non-toxic paint if a homeowner requested it, but without having any knowledge of how to keep the ENTIRE process non-toxic. That needed to change.
Between Richard’s attention to detail and desperation for quality work in an industry that tends to cut corners, he decided to create a company that was different. Haven Painting Co. exists to bring high quality, non-toxic painting services to your home so you feel safe, cared for, and wowed by the result. After all, your home is your haven.
When he’s not painting, Richard can be found exploring new restaurants and coffee shops around town with his wife, Tammy or working on renovations in their new home in Thompson Station. An empty nester now himself, in his spare time he is constantly growing and learning new things about his trade and his hobbies whether through YouTube tutorials, hands on classes and certifications, or just trial an error on his own.
